We began class by completing a pre-test of can do statements for the year. We will do this again at the end of the year to see what students have learned.
Then, we worked with our French alphabet and accent marks today. I practiced spelling words for the students using the French alphabet and accent marks - this models their listening assessment next week. We also listened to the songs once to help them with pronunciation. Then students used a worksheet I gave them to spell words with a partner that used accent marks. Then students worked independently to complete parts A, B and C of the worksheet and turned it in to me. Then they played hangman with the French alphabet for the last few minutes of class.

Upcoming assessments:
Speaking - French alphabet - Tuesday, Sept 10th
Listening - French alphabet & accent marks - Wednesday, Sept 11th
