We worked with our vocab 1c today. I explained some of the details about the vocab since students simply copied it down yesterday. Then we practiced with our articles by completing the 1/2 sheet in their worksheets with un/une or le/la/l'. Then we did a listening practiced that models this part of their assessment next week. Then they completed page 3 (all of it) in their chapter 1 packet. This is homework if they didn't finish it.

Please stay in your assigned seats all hour. Remember to be great for the sub! Any names left will result in a VOE and phone calls home.
2. Practice Vocab 1a, 1b & Adjectives on conjuguemos.com – You must take the quiz over this vocab first then you can do the activities or play the games. You can take the quiz more than once if you’d like and you can use your notes. This will be going in the gradebook, so be sure you complete it.
3. Vocab 1a & Vocab 1b are separate sets on quizlet.com if you’d like to practice on that site AFTER you take the quiz on conjuguemos. Password for conjuguemos.com is still FrenchRocks!
À demain!!

We added 4 sentences to our notes so that we can make sentences negative.
I am not...Je ne suis pas...
You are not... Tu n'es pas...
He/She is not... Il/Elle n'est pas...
Students then completed page 1 of their chapter 1 packet describing each person with at least 4 sentences or more if they could. Then they complete the Des Celebres worksheet where they had to choose 4 famous people, say who they were, what nationality they were and say two adjectives they were and 2 adjectives they were not. This models the speaking assessment they will have next week.
